This is me, Ismene

This parody is a free adaptation of "Antigone" by the Greek writer Sophocles. Displacing the situation of a fully-known classic tragedy, the director narrated a comic play whose main concern was satirizing the power system. The characters’ costume was designed according to their social status; however, they were far from historical context of Sophocles and seemed rather modern. On the other hand, the light of the scene narrating the climax was designed by using black light; therefore, just the hands and masks of the players were shown. To this end, the color and texture of the cloth used should be selected in such a way that it wouldn’t affect the brightness of the intended components.
